AFTER 12 MONTHS OF TALKS, SALGADO WANTS REAL MADRID TO SIGN LIVERPOOL TARGET

According to Marca, Real Madrid are now stepping up their pursuit of Liverpool target Jude Bellingham after 12 months of negotiations. Well, the Spanish giants took the Champions League away from Liverpool, then beat the Reds to a deal for Aurelien Tchouameni – now, they plan to make it a hattrick of upsets for Jürgen Klopp. Marca believe Real Madrid are now in discussions over financial figures in regards to a move for Bellingham, having spent the past year doing groundwork on what looks set to be one of the biggest deals in football history.

Interest in the 19-year-old has become even more intense in recent weeks as the teenager was handed the captain’s armband by Borussia Dortmund, which he wore with pride as he scored in last night’s 4-1 win over Sevilla.         MICHEL SALGADO WANTS MADRID TO SIGN THIS AC MILAN STAR NEXT SUMMER

According to a report by Spanish outlet Defensa Central, Rafael Leao is the subject of interest from Real Madrid over a possible move in the 2023 summer transfer window. Los Blancos will not sign any more players this year but are laying down a plan to refine their first-team squad ahead of the 2023/24 season.

Rafael Leao joined AC Milan from LOSC Lille nearly three years ago and has established himself as a pivotal figure for the Rossoneri since then. SALGADO: VIGO CAREER IN SUMMARY

Spanish star Michel Salgado started his professional football career at hometown club Celta Vigo having been born in As Nevesin the Pontevedra provincial part of Galicia. He made his Celta Vigo debut in the Spanish La Liga on January 22, 1995. His debut for his hometown club in La Liga was against Real Madrid whom he would go on to play for later in his career. His first game in the Spanish top flight didn’t go according to plan after his team suffered a 4-0 thrashing at the hands of hosts Real Madrid.


Michel Salgado cut his teeth in professional football during his loan spell at UD Salamanca in the second tier of club football in Spain known as the Segunda Division. He returned from his loan spell at UD Salamanca to become a regular in the Celta Vigo starting XI. At Celta Vigo, Salgado was involved in an incident with JuninhoPaulista of Atletico Madrid in February 1998. Juninho picked up a serious injury during the incident and he was ruled out of the World Cup in France as a result. Juninho would have made the Brazil squad for the World Cup on French soil as he missed out on finishing second with the Selecao. Defending champions Brazil failed to defend their World Cup title after they were beaten 3-0 by hosts France in the final. Zinedine Zidane (brace) and Emmanuel Petit scored the goals for France.

MICHEL SALGADO: CELTA CAREER EXAMINED

Michel Salgado began his career as a professional footballer at hometown club Celta Vigo. He was born in As Neves in the Province of Pontevedra in Galicia. His Spanish La Liga debut came in the colours of Celta Vigo and it was against his future club, Real Madrid. The first game for Michel Salgado in La Liga ended in a 4-0 defeat at Real Madrid on January 22, 1995.

Celta Vigo made the decision to loan Michel Salgado to UD Salamanca in the Spanish Segunda Division which is the second tier of club football in Spain. WHERE IS EX-PL STAR SALGADO NOW?

Spanish fullback Michel Salgado was a fans favourite during his brief time at Blackburn Rovers. Michel Salgado spent the last few years of his professional football career in the Premier League (PL) shortly after his Real Madrid spell ended. He was at Blackburn Rovers until his retirement in 2012 after the club could not afford his salary. Salgado made 66 appearances for Blackburn Rovers in the Premier League over a period of three years between 2009 and 2012.

Michel Salgado played 53 times for the Spanish senior national team over a period of eight years. The Real Madrid legend was in the Spanish team from 1998 to 2006. Michel Salgado was in the team shortly before the boom era started.


The boom era for Spanish football started in 2008 when Fernando Torres scored the only goal of the game in the final of the Euro 2008 tournament to end several decades of hurt. SALGADO LOOKS BACK ON MADRID CAREER

Real Madrid legend Michel Salgado recently looked back on his time with the club in an exclusive interview with popular Spanish newspaper Marca. Michel Salgado talked about former manager Vicente Del Bosque and how he was sacked by the club despite winning the league title.

According to the ex-Spanish national team right-back, it was a pity that the league title was being celebrated when the manager was told that he can leave the club. Michel Salgado revealed that the club didn’t renew Del Bosque’s contract at the time despite leading the Spanish giants to the La Liga title. Salgado wanted him to stay but the decision on the manager was neither down to him or his teammates. The former Blackburn Rovers and Celta Vigo player confirmed that Del Bosque had won 12 trophies in four-and-a-half seasons.
