SALGADO SAYS IT WILL BE DIFFICULT TO REPLACE RONALDO AT MADRID

Michel Salgado has insisted that it continues to be and will keep being a difficult task for Real Madrid to find a perfect replacement for club legend Cristiano Ronaldo. The former Real Madrid player made the comments after The Los Blancos’ most recent shocking result in their Copa Del Rey encounter against a third-tier league club.

SALGADO BACKS REAL MADRID FLOP

 

Real Madrid legend Michel Salgado is ready to give striker Luka Jovic all the time in the world to prove himself as a worthy signing for the Spanish La Liga team. He has backed the Serbian international to live up to his €60m transfer fee spent to sign the striker from German Bundesliga team Eintracht Frankfurt.

In one of his past interviews, ex-Real Madrid right-back Michel Salgadotold Omnisport that Luka Jovic has the quality required to be a hit at the Estadio Santiago Bernebeu. Luka Jovic was signed by Real Madrid last summer and he’s in his second season at the club. He scored one goal plus two assists in 17 league games last season, while he failed to score or assist in five Champions League games. MADRID READY TO SUBSIDIZE BALE WAGE

 

Real Madrid are ready to pay part of Gareth Bale’s wages in order to encourage loan bids from across Europe. Los Blancos are ready to pay 50% of his wages in order to get him off the book.

Madrid were made to regret the decision refusing to let Bale leave for free last summer. In return they were consequently stuck with his hefty £600,000-a-week wages on the books. They are now determined to ensure they won’t have to pay such a fee for a player who has been on the fringe in the squad this season.

NEWCASTLE AFTER REAL MADRID YOUNGSTER

Newcastle have been linked with the signing of Real Madrid Sergio Reguilion according to reports from Europe. The 22-year-old was one of the few academy players to make the grade this season making 22 appearances for the European champions.

MICHEL SALGADO – THE COMBATIVE FULLBACK

In the early 2000s, Real Madrid was the club of stars as Florentino Perez was able to assemble a team full of world stars known as the Galacticos. Players such as David Beckham, Luis Figo, Zinedine Zidane and Ronaldo played at the Bernabeu.

FOREST MISS MICHAEL DAWSON
