Juventus legend Andrea Pirlo is happy with the move to sign Cristiano Ronaldo. The five time Ballon d’Or winner agreed to a shock move to Turin from Madrid this summer. The Portuguese striker was impressive at the World Cup following a great season with Madrid that ended in a third straight Champions League title.

Ronaldo, who was named among the 10 candidates for the Best FIFA Men Player award for 2018, became the record signing for the Italian side despite being 33 years old.

Michel Salgado: I Will Feel The Madness Of Coaching

Former Real Madrid star Michel Salgado says he knows that he will someday feel the madness of being a coach. The retired footballer is being careful before making the jump into football management. He has his UEFA A and B licenses but admits that the job of coaching is “complicated.”

Salgado says the people he has spoken to confirm that the job is intensive and complicated, requiring coaches to live football 24 hours a day, seven days of the week. He revealed that Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane never expected he would become a manager but that the competition and the game forces players to turn to coaching and then they fall in love with it. Former Real Madrid player Michel Salgado thinks that Zinedine Zidane is the right man for the job. He made the statement after the French manager has come under intense pressure from Real Madrid fans and media.

Indeed the Spanish giant is currently in a bad run of form which has left them 16 points behind their bitter rival Barcelona. Some fans have even called for the manager to be replaced as they feel that he is not capable of solving their problems.
